In today’s society, there are a lot of products gearing towards finding your best self. Whether its seminars, books, podcasts or even a weekend in the mountain to reach your best self. At ends day, even trying to get to that point has a draining effect. I’ve read, listen to many books and podcast, videos and such on those topics and in the end, I see that it boils that to 3 key things. You may think they’re a secret but they’re actually not. So what are the 3 keys to being your best self?
- Be true to yourself.
Ask yourself: Who am I? What are my values and beliefs?
The fact is YOU ARE YOU! A lot of us do struggle to be ourselves after the overflow of info from the media, social networks, and even close personal relationships. But the truth remain that there is no greater gift given to us than the gift of self. The gift to be uniquely you. There is greater power within that only you can access. Why would try to get away from that? We are each packed with unique personalities and capabilities. Learn yours and work from there. You are magic in the making. Own that magic.

- Be authentic wherever you go.
You were meant to be you. You look at yourself in the mirror everyday. What do you see?
Ask yourself: What is my truest self look like? What is he/she doing? How do he/she want to be remembered?
As the saying goes:
“The world needs who you were made to be.”
Someone out there is waiting for who is the you you suppose to be. Be authentic. Be brave, fiercely you, and nothing less. Always come forward as your true self. If its that introvert girl, woman, boy, man, then so be it. I can tell you firsthand from experience that it won’t work to try to be someone else. I was one trying my hardest to be out there attempting at the extroverted world until I came to the realization that “I am a damn good introvert.” I don’t know what I was thinking but that was the signal I needed to stop and learn my introverted powers and go for what I want anyways.
- Practice self-care.
Self-care is any activity that you do that take care of your mental, emotional, and physical health.
It is a very important aspect of life that helps you to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself, and produce positive feelings.
Check in with yourself. Fill yourself.

Your needs are important too and besides you owe it to yourself to give yourself the same care and attention you give to others.
When you do, you’ll be amaze at how delightful you will feel. Your productiveness will increase and you get so much more done that align with your beliefs and values.
With these 3 keys, you will be sure to be the best of you that you are.
